Here
in Brazil, Winter begins on June 21st and ends on September 22nd.
During this period, it's Summer in the countries located above
the Equator line. When the Winter season begins in the Northern
hemisphere, it's Summer time in Brazil (from December 22nd to
March 21st).

I
love snow, but unfortunately we never have snow in Rio de Janeiro.
It snows only a little bit in a few areas in the south of Brazil.
São Joaquim and Urubici, both located in the south are
the coldest cities of Brazil and where we can see more snow because
of their high location. In Rio the temperature doesn't get colder
than 12º Celsius (53º Farenheit)in the city, but in
the mountains it can reach 0º Celsius (32º Farenheit)
very easily, although it never snows. |
