Winter
is Brazil is very different from region to region. In the city
where we live (Rio de Janeiro) it is never too much cold. The
temperature is normally nice during the day and just a little
bit cold at night. Here in Rio, it rains sometimes during the
months of July and August, but it's not a heavy rain like we
have in the summer.
When
we go up the mountains the temperature lowers a lot, and in some
regions like in the south of Brazil, it can even snow for a few
days during the winter season. |
|
Urubici,
located in Santa Catarina, south of Brazil, 980 meters above
the sea level, is one of the coldest cities in Brazil. |
Its
beautiful canyons, mountains and waterfalls attracts lots of
tourists, not only during winter, but all year long. |
|
|
São Joaquim,
located in Santa Catarina, is very famous for its winter. |
Snow doesn't
happen often, only during a few days, but it's enough to change
the landscape a little bit. |
