Here
in Brazil, Summer begins on December 22nd and ends on March 21st.
During this period, it's Winter in the countries located above
the Equator line. When the Summer season begins in the Northern
hemisphere, it's Winter in Brazil (June 21st to September 22nd). |

I
enjoy Summer although it has never been my favorite season of
the year, maybe because it's always very warm in Rio and I prefer
the cold. I love the sun, the sea, the sound of the seagulls,
walking on the sand, but I wish the temperature was a little
cooler during Summer. The seasons don't vary much here in Rio
and it seems it's summer all year long. |

The Rio de Janeiro
state is the home of magnificent beaches, as well as many other
places all around Brazil. Some of these, such as Copacabana and
Ipanema beaches, located in Rio, are famous all over the world. |
