My
mother was born in Rio de Janeiro. She became a primary school
teacher at 17 years of age, married my father at 20, became a
mother at 21 and some time before I was born she quit her job
to be a stay at home mom. Almost six years after I was born she
had my sister Renata. She's undoubtedely the strongest woman
I know. My father passed away when I was 15 years old and she
took care of me and my sister alone, being our mother and father
at the same time, always doing her best not to let anything miss
in our lives.
She
loves musical movies, Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, her favorite
color is blue and favorite food is chicken and shrimp. She loves
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and has the largest collection of
Elvis records I have ever seen. Her birthday is on September
20th and her zodiac sign is Virgo. Her Chinese astrology sign
is the Rat. |

In December 2003, I was blessed with a wonderful son. My mom
was a great help during the first months and she still is. I
can count on her any time I need. I'm grateful for all she has
done for my son Nicholas and I.
