Located
in the Gruyère region, the village du Moléson,
a small bucolic resort, gives access to the heights of the Moléson
mountain via a funicular or a gondola. The
village square has as its focus a dairy dating from 1686, where
cheese is made according to the old mountain ways.
Panoramic
views from the summit of the Moléson, at 2002m, are breathtaking.
From the Moléson, we can view the Alps, the Plateau and
Lake Geneva (Lac Léman in French). There are plenty of
ridge-top walks and ski runs in winter. |
