The Steigenberger
Kurhaus Hotel was taken into service in June 1892. In front of
the Kurhaus is De Pier, a roofed over promenade pier. The beach
and boulevard of Scheveningen are host the whole year round to
numerous festivities, from a flypast and firework festival to
musical events and sand-sculpture competitions. |

During
my stay in Rotterdam, I went twice to the beach in Scheveningen,
just about 10 minutes from Den Haag (The Hague). |

The weather
was very nice and I couldn't miss it. I went there by train and
spent the whole day soaking up the sun. :o)
